Hi.
I'm trying to find a remote administration program that will work with speech.
It should iether bring the remote computers speech to my work station or be acsessable enough to read the screen of the remote computer from my work station, i dunno if you can do this.
I've tryed remote admin which is no good and i've had a play with remote desktop which i didn't like.
What i have atm is kinda ok but i want gui - i've got open ssh for windows on my computers and then i just ssh into them using puty and i get a command prompt, but not all the programs that i wanna run have commandline interfaces, so my use is kinda restricted.
Any ideas?
Thanks, BEN.
have you looked at log me in?
www.logmein.com
hmmm, I am looking for something similar, I have a friend who is extremely uncomputer friendly, she has ll kinds of computer issues and I was thinking if I could remtly connect to her I could fix some things.
I have xp pro on my lap top but she only has home, I played with remote assistance in class last semester but it doesn't seem all that jaws friendly, anyone got that to work?
Yeah this is the problem.
Remote desktop seems to work but it logs the current user out and you in and you have to enable remote desktop for a user on the remote computers end first.
I have to say that remote desktop does bring sound to the work station but it brakes up and i have generally found it to be very poor.
Your best bet atm is to just use remote admin and get someone sited to use it with you.
o and i'll try that log me in thing, thanks.
